A taxi strike is to take place in Tralee tonight.
Tralee Taxi Association today announced they are to withdraw services from 7pm this evening (Saturday, July 1st) until 7am tomorrow morning (Sunday, July 2nd).
The association says this withdrawal of services is in protest to Kerry County Council and the Tralee Municipal District for, what they describe as a ‘failure’ to address taxi drivers’ concerns with the re-location of the Taxi Rank in Tralee.
Tralee Taxi Association says it regrets any inconvenience this may cause to the public and has apologised to customers.
