The early findings of a new survey show a lack of communication between patients and health workers. The President of the Irish Society for Quality and Safety in Healthcare, says many hospital patients are afraid to ask doctors and nurses about hygiene and other matters.Marie Kehoe from Killarney says it’s a matter of changing the culture surrounding doctor-patient relationships.
