Survey on Broadband launched in the County

A survey has been launched in the county for Broadband users. The South West Regional Authority is conducting a nationwide survey that will assess perceptions and attitudes to the use of satellite technology. Customers of Broadband are asked to complete the questionnaire under a range of headings, including user satisfaction, cost, location and the satellite service. The aim of the survey is to carry out research on Broadband and perceptions of other technologies in the County.Results of the survey will help to pinpoint the role of satellite technology in the plan for Broadband roll out in the county. The South West Regional Authority is the body responsible for the social and economic sustainability of Kerry and Cork. The survey is being carried out in conjunction with the SWRA, The Department of Communications Marine and Natural Resources and The National Microelectronics Centre.
