Superintendents promise to do jobs despite work-to-rule

Garda Superintendents are promising they’ll still do their jobs – despite going on a work-to-rule.

Their association says they’re owed up to 6-thousand Euro which they lose out on when promoted from the rank of inspector.

In the meantime, they’re refusing to carry out extra duties and have written to the acting Garda Commissioner to say they won’t agree to any new pay deal until the issue is solved.
