Kerry features eight times in the list of top 25 hotels in Ireland.
The annual Travellers’ Choice awards are based on reviews published by contributors to the travel website TripAdvisor last year.
As well as the top hotels in Ireland, Kerry features in the lists of top luxury hotels, top small hotels, , and top B&Bs.
Kerry appears eight times in the top 25 hotels in Ireland - the Killarney Park at number two, Ballygarry House Hotel & Spa Tralee was ranked fifth, the Lake Hotel Killarney came sixth, while the Brehon Killarney was in ninth position.
Seven Kerry hotels made the list of top 25 luxury hotels in Ireland - as well as being number two in the overall list of Ireland’s top hotels, the five-star Killarney Park took the number one spot in the top luxury hotels list.
When it comes to the top 25 small hotels in Ireland, Kerry features eight times, with Heaton’s Guesthouse in Dingle and Loch Lein Country House Fossa taking the number one and two positions; Heaton’s was also named seventh best small hotel in the world.
Castlewood House, Dingle topped the list for best service in Ireland; it was also listed 10th in Europe in this category.
Fourteen (14) of the top 25 hotels for best service are Kerry based, including Heaton's Guesthouse, Dingle at number two, and the Killarney Park at number five.
Six of the top 25 B&Bs in Ireland are in Kerry, including Friar’s Glen Killarney in number two, and the 19th Lodge Ballybunion at number four.
