Stabbing victim in critical condition in Kerry General Hospital

The female victim of a stabbing incident on the Tralee/Listowel road last night is in a critical condition at Kerry General Hospital. A man was admitted shortly afterwards. He is in a stable condition. The female victim managed to alert a neighbour. Gardai were then alerted at 20 past 10 last night. The female victim is in her mid forties and from Tralee.Superintendent Frank o Brien says they are not looking for anybody else in connection with the attack. A car that was found at the scene of the attack has been taken to listowel Garda Station and will be examined later in the day. Gardai have cordoned off the area in Kilflynn in North Kerry where they will be carrying out forensic examinations. Superintendent O Brien says they will need help from the public.
