St Mary’s Cathedral celebrates 150th birthday

St. Mary’s Cathedral, Killarney celebrates 150 years of worship and faith tonight. Bishop of Kerry Bill Murphy is to be the main celebrant in a special celebration of the Eucharist to mark the 150th anniversary. He will also be joined by Priests and people from the dioceses to mark the occasion.Radio Kerry will broadcast from St Mary Church tonight from 8 pm to 9 pm. Killarney Parish Priest Fr Declan O Connor says its not only a celebration of the establishment of the building but of the faith of the people as well.
