Sport:Kerry teams to be selected tonight for Allianz League fixtures.

The Kerry hurling and football teams for their respective Allianz League weekend fixtures will be selected tonight. The Kerry football selectors are monitoring the fitness of Seamus Moynihan ahead of Sunday`s semi-final against Limerick. Moynihan jarred his back in training last night when overstretching for a ball and the selectors will need to assess the extent of the injury. Early indications are that the injury is nothing to be overly concerned about.Meanwhile, Declan O`Sullivan and Mike McCarthy are also expected to be fit for the weekend. A hamstring strain forced McCarthy to miss Kilcummin’s County League win over Aunascaul last Saturday, while O`Sullivan failed to finish Dromid’s game against O`Rahillys for the same reason. The pair only did light training last night, but should be okay.Changes are expected, with Kerry fielding what was something of an experimental side against Tyrone 10 days ago. One definite absentee will be the suspended Eamonn Fitzmaurice. That could mean a return for Tomas O`Shea, while Tomas`s brothers Marc and Dara, along with Gaeltacht team-mate Dara O`Cinneide, are also believed to be in contention for starting spots. Also this weekend, the Kerry hurlers host Roscommon in their second game of the second series of the league. There are no fresh injury worries following last Sunday`s trip to Down and it’s hoped that some of those who failed to make the journey north will be available for Saturday. The division two group one fixture is on at Tralee`s Austin stack park at 4.30 on Saturday.
