Talk revived of combined UK and Ireland World Cup bid

Former interim FAI CEO Noel Mooney has revived talk of a combined UK and Ireland bid for the 2030 World Cup.

Earlier this year, current FAI CEO Jonathan Hill described the proposal as “absolutely credible”.

Mooney - now in charge of the Football Association of Wales - says the time is right for a combined World Cup bid.
