Southampton have been taken over by investment firm Sport Republic.
The group is led by Serbian-born cable television tycoon Dragan Solak and has purchased a 100-million pound controlling stake in the club.
The south coast team are 14th in the Premier League table, ten points clear of the relegation zone.
