Sky say Liverpool have reached a verbal agreement in principle to make Amorim manager

Sources close to Liverpool have described reports claiming Ruben Amorim is close to becoming their new manager as "wholly inaccurate".

Sky Germany understands there is a verbal agreement in principle for the boss at Sporting to succeed Jurgen Klopp when the German leaves this summer.

The Portuguese coach is among the highest-rated young managers in world football and is said to have discussed a three-year contract.
