Rangers go five clear of Celtic

Rangers thrashed Hearts 5-nil to go five points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

Fourth placed Kilmarnock were 2-nil winners at home to Aberdeen, while Hibs scored a late winner to beat Dundee 2-1.

Second bottom Ross County won 3-2 against Livingston - who remain rooted to the foot of the table.

St Mirren beat St Johnstone 2-nil.
