Kerry’s Paudie Clifford has been named as the GAA.ie Footballer of the week.
The Fossa man has quickly become indispensable to the Kerry team and has 34 possessions in victory over Tipperary.
Paudie yesterday was named on the Team of the week alongside Sean O Shea and Tom O Sullivan.
Paddie Purcell of Laois was named hurler of the week scoring 2-2 to relegate Antrim to the Joe McDonagh and Laois to march on in Leinster.
Meanwhile referees for this weekend’s games involving Kerry have been announced.
Jerome Henry of Mayo will referee Sundays 2020 Minor All Ireland Final between Derry and Kerry in Tullamore.
While Kilkenny and O Loughlin Gaels man Sean Cleere will take charge of the Joe McDonagh Cup final between Kerry and Westmeath at GAA HQ on Saturday.
