Heinrich Malan has been appointed as the new head coach of the Ireland men's cricket team.
The South African succeeds Graham Ford and will take up his role in March on a three-year contract, subject to work permit approval.
Malan played first-class cricket in South Africa before taking on coaching roles in his native country and New Zealand.

He is currently the head coach of the Auckland Aces.
