The Dubliner secured at least a bronze with this morning’s quarter-final win.

Andrew Coscoran secured a place in the men’s 15-hundred metres semi-finals by finishing as one of the fastest runners-up in the heats.

Leon Reid was seventh in his semi-final of the men’s 200-metres.

The 24-year old withdrew from most of her events in Japan to focus on her mental wellbeing.

Biles put in a solid performance on what could be her last ever appearance at a games and says she's happy to finish third.
