Galway’s footballers have been dealt a major blow.
2022 All Star Cillian McDaid sustained a fractured tibia on club duty for Monivea Abbey in the Galway Intermediate Championship.
McDaid is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines as a result.

Staying in Connacht, the football championship there will once again commence the week after the conclusion of the Allianz Leagues.
Three quarter-finals will be played in early April, with the semi-finals two-weeks’ later.
