Late goal gives U21s win

Aidomo Emakhu’s goal six-minutes into injury time meant the Republic of Ireland under-21s started their Euro qualifying campaign with a win last night.

Jim Crawford’s side beat Turkey 3-2 at Turner’s Cross, having been 2-1 down with 3-minutes to go.
