More than 18 years since his last involvement as manager, Brian Kerr has been welcomed back into the Republic of Ireland fold.
He’ll serve as a technical advisor to interim boss John O’Shea for next month’s friendlies with Belgium and Switzerland.
Former Ireland midfielder Glenn Whelan will be an assistant to O’Shea, with Rene Gilmartin working as goalkeeping coach.
