Ireland take on England in the Aviva this evening

A new era for the Republic of Ireland gets underway this evening against some very familiar opposition.

Heimir Hallgrimsson takes charge of Ireland for the first time as they open their Nations League campaign at home to England.

Former Ireland midfielder Lee Carsley is beginning his stint as interim England boss.
