There were wins for Westmeath, Offaly and Carlow in the southern section of the Tailteann Cup this afternoon.
The Lake County got past Laois by 1-13 to 13 points despite both teams going down to 14 men.
Offaly beat Wicklow by 18 points to 10 at O'Connor Park,
And Carlow came from behind to beat Tipperary by 1-12 to 1-10 at Netwatch Cullen Park.
The quarter final draw will take place tomorrow.
