Everton points deduction reduced from ten to six

Premier League club Everton has had its points deduction for breaking financial rules reduced from ten points to six.

A statement says the club feels "vindicated in pursuing its appeal".

The decision means Everton move up to fifteenth in the table - five points clear of relegation.
