Defender Eric Lowndes has left the Dublin senior football panel ahead of their Leinster Football semi-final against Kildare this weekend.
The St Peregrine’s clubman featured in all four of Dublin's matches in the league this summer.
The reigning All-Ireland champions are now stretched for defensive cover, with John Small, Jonny Cooper, Eoin Murchan and Robbie McDaid all doubts for Sunday's match at Croke Park.
