Brisbane Lions have confirmed the signing of Kerry's Ben Murphy.
The 18 year-old Austin Stacks player is joining the AFL champions as a Category B rookie.
Brisbane Lions pro scout Shane Rogers told the club's website that Murphy "displays impressive traits such as strong work ethic, and is mature beyond his years. “He will start as a defender initially whilst he learns the game but has scope to develop craft across a number of lines and the ability to play wing long term."
Meanwhile, Mayo's Kobe McDonald - son of former Mayo star Ciaran - has signed a deal with St Kilda.
