Xabi Alonso has committed his future to Bayer Leverkusen - ruling out the possibility of taking over Liverpool this summer.
The Spaniard says the German club 'is the best place' for him to be to develop as a coach.
Alonso had been tipped to succeed Jurgen Klopp at Anfield this summer, and was also the subject of interest from Bayern Munich.
