Speed on Farranfore road to be reviewed

The County Council is to review the speed limit on the road into Farranfore. There may be a need for further advanced warning of the reduced speed limit through Farranfore village, to cater for visitors to the area who may not be familiar with the road. This is the view of Director of Transport with Kerry county council, Tom Curran. He was reacting to the request of the automobile association to review the speed limit in the village. However he also points out that people don’t seem to read the speed signs in advance.
