Signal fault delays Dublin/Kerry train

Train passengers travelling from Dublin to Kerry last night were delayed by over an hour due to problems at Millstreet station. The 7pm train didn’t arrive into Tralee until after midnight. Iarnrod Eireann says the delay was due to a signal fault which is still being rectified today. Passengers are now entitled to compensation under the customer charter. Iarnrod Eireann says there are no delays to services today and they wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused to passengers yesterday.
