The upturn in Shannon Airport’s fortunes augurs well for Kerry’s tourism prospects for 2014. That’s according to Niall Gibbons, CEO of Tourism Ireland. His group markets Ireland overseas as a tourism destination. Mr Gibbons believes the new flights announced for Shannon Airport should boost visitor numbers to Kerry.
