Kerry played Derry on Saturday evening at Austin Stack Park in the first round of the Allianz Football League, losing out by one point with a score of 0-15 points to 2-08. While on Sunday, the Kerry ladies made it back-to-back wins in the Lidl Ladies National Football League after defeating Waterford at Fitzgerald Stadium with a score of 2-11 to 2-05.
