Sean Kelly warns of loss of Irish influence in Brussels

Sean Kelly An Ireland South MEP is voicing concerns over the falling number of Irish people working in the European Commission in Brussels. Sean Kelly says there are 213 permanent Irish officials working with the Commission; however half of those are due for retirement. He says that since 2010 just three Irish people have passed the assessments required to enter the Commission. The Kilcummin native says he is concerned about future Irish influence in Brussels.
