Saturday Supplement - August 1st, 2020

On the Saturday Supplement this week Joe McGill speaks to grandchildren of Brosna’s favourite son Danny Hannon who were involved in a huge project bringing meal to frontline workers around New York during lockdown. We will also hear from famous Rathmore man John Reen as he describes his 2kms in ‘Kingdom 2K’. We’ll have our weekly feature ‘Kerry during Covid 19’ with renowned photographer Domnick Walsh. Domnick is keeping a photo diary of Kerry during COVID 19 and each week he’ll describe photos he has taken during the crisis and the story behind it. He also set Joe a challenge of taking a photo of ‘Daily life’. Joe took the below one of John Drummey stretching in studio!! What do you think?! There will also be a wonderful short feature produced by Kerry ETB/Radio Kerry journalism students on how the music industry was and is affected in the county by Covid 19.
