Sarah Lee to address waste conference next month.

A Killarney company listed on a European pollutants register is to address a waste minimization conference later this month. Sarah Lee was one of four companies listed on the register and was cited for chromium emissions. The conference is aimed at small and medium enterprises and aims to encourage waste minimisation techniques.Contributions will include an overview of the regional waste management plan along with a presentation on the benefits of waste minimization. The seminar will also hear from KCC’s environmental awareness officer Michael O Coileain on community environmental awareness and the race against waste.A number of case study presentations are to take place as part of the evening long seminar. These will include the Great Southern Hotel, a retailer and manufacturing company Sarah Lee. Sarah Lee joined Kerry Ingredients in Listowel, the North Kerry landfill and Tarbert ESB station on the pollutants register.
