Saorview says signal should be restored in South Kerry

Saorview, the state-owned free digital TV service, says viewers in South Kerry should have their signal restored following an outage.

Listeners in South and West Kerry contacted Radio Kerry yesterday to say they’d been without a TV service since an electricity outage on Saturday night.

Saorview says the outage in South Kerry yesterday was caused by an ESB fault that affected its transmitter at Kilkeaveragh, Portmagee.

It says power was restored at 4pm  yesterday so viewers should have the signal restored to their TV screens.

Anyone still without a signal should contact Saorview on 1890 222 012 or 01 – 2583540.
