Rural Dwellers Association meet with County Manager and planning director

The Kerry Irish Rural Dwellers Association held a meeting with the County Manager Martin Riordan and the Director of planning Michael McMahon last Monday. The purpose of the meeting was to look at case studies of people who have problems with planning in their area and to examine if any changes have taken place since the national guidelines on planning were introduced by the Minister Dick Roche.The meeting agreed that the IRDA would compile a document containing case studies and polices including the associations envirmental policy. The manager agreed that he would meet with them at a later date. Pro for the Kerry Association of the IRDA Bridget O Connor says it was a positive meeting.
