Rugby Player With Kerry Grandfather Signs For Ulster

Ulster_Rugby_Crest Ulster have confirmed the signings of Sean Reidy and Charlie Butterworth. Reidy, who is Irish qualified as his grandfather is from Castlegregory in Kerry, has signed a short term deal. That’s after the 25 year-old, who can play across the back row, impressed with Counties Manukau Steelers in New Zealand. Butterworth, who can operate as an openside or blindside flanker, joins on a one year contract from Landsdowne. The 23 year old Wicklow native was a key player as the Dublin side won the Division 1A title in 2013. Kerry’s JJ Hanrahan is a sub for Emerging Ireland as they today begin their three game IRB Nations Cup campaign in Romania. Ireland take on Russia at 2 o’clock Irish time.
