Rose of Tralee organisers hopeful of restoring financial status

The organisers of the Rose of Tralee say they’re hoping to restore their financial status in the coming years. Creditors owed nearly a million euro were asked to accept a 70 per cent write-off in January to help save the festival from liquidation. Three extra rose contestants will be chosen this week-end from 14 new centres. Managing Director Anthony O`Gara is setting modest targets.
