Mayo await the winners of this evening’s Connacht Football semi final meeting of Roscommon and Sligo. Half-back Ronan Stack, and half-forward Conor Daly come into the Rossies’ starting fifteen at Markievicz Park. Sligo have four debutants as they become the last county to make their Championship bow. Roscommon’s last outing saw them concede 10-points to London, but Sligo manager Niall Carew knows the scale of the task facing his side [audio_player src=”http://media.radiokerry.ie/mediamanager/embed/audio/41578/medium/”] The rest of today’s football action comes in the form of four round 1A qualifiers. At 2, Offaly are unchanged for their meeting with Waterford in Dungarvan. They throw in at the same time in Ruislip where London face Cavan. Paul Kingston comes into the Laois full-forward line for their meeting with Antrim at O’Moore Park. Laois manager Tomás Ó Flatharta knows they can’t carry a hangover from last week’s Leinster replay defeat to Kildare [audio_player src=”http://media.radiokerry.ie/mediamanager/embed/audio/41577/medium/”] And it’s an all-Leinster affair at Pearse Park this evening with Longford up against Carlow. That one throws in at 7. The Laois hurlers are also in action later. Cheddar Plunkett’s side face the imposing challenge of Galway in the Leinster semi finals. The Tribesmen’s last visit to O’Connor Park saw them put five goals past Dublin. Throw-in there this evening is at 5.
