Rochford Linked With Mayo Football Vacancy

Stephen Rochford is being linked to the Mayo football vacancy this morning. Rochford won an All Ireland club title with Corofin last season and has led them back to a county final this season. The joint management team of Kevin McStay and Fergal O’Donnell have been ratified by the Roscommon county board. Selector Stephen Bohan and Coaches David Casey and Liam McHale are among the backroom team. The new management take over from Kerry’s John Evans, who led the Rossies to Division 1. Mitchels were victorious in the Trophyworld North Kerry Ladies Under 16 Football League Division 2 Shield-Final, beating Currow 6-6 to 4-3. Na Gaeil against Stacks in Division 1 was not played.
