Road closures and parking arrangements in place ahead of St Patrick’s Day parade in Killarney

A number of road closures and alternative parking arrangements are in place today in Killarney ahead of the St Patrick’s Day celebrations.

From 1pm to 3pm today Lewis Road from the bypass to Michael Collins Place and Fairhill will be closed as will East Avenue Road, Kenmare Place, Main St and Beech Road.

Due to these road closures, there will be restricted access to High Street and no access to the town centre from Park Road.

There will be no access to Upper Lewis Road from the bypass and traffic approaching from Muckross will be diverted at Countess Road roundabout.

There will be no access to Mission Road from Port Road and limited access to Lower New Street; traffic will be diverted via Bótharín na Gamhain to New Road at the Dunnes Junction.

There will be no access to St Anne’s Road from New Road or Rock Road however local access will be facilitated.
