Road cleared after train breaks down at railway crossing

The main Killarney Cork road has been cleared after a train broke down at a railway crossing this morning. The train suffered engine failure six miles outside Killarney and was blocking the main road at the Minish gates. Iarnrod Eireann engineers arrived at the scene shortly before eleven o’clock and cleared the road. Andrew Roche is business Development Manager with Iarnrod Eireann.
