A new three year Action Plan for Hurling Development was launched today at Croke Park, as the Association once-again attempts to increase the numbers playing the game. Among the proposals are changes to the All Ireland Minor Hurling Championship as well as the creation of a new underage tournament for next year – The Celtic Challenge, which will cater for players, aged between 16 and 17 who aren’t involved in State Examinations.
