Relationship between Tralee’s private and public hospitals could be replicated across the country

The working relationship between Tralee’s private and public hospitals could be replicated across the country.
That’s according to the manager of the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee, TJ O’Connor who was speaking about the trolley crisis.
He says the private hospital and University Hospital Kerry work together, particularly during the busy summer period.
He says this could be extended and replicated around the country in a public private partnership.
He says however that the Emergency Department Task Force asking private hospitals to help should have been done before the flu outbreak.
