Questions raised at deportation of Romanian family

Questions are being raised as to how a Romanian family was treated by immigration officials prior to being deported from the county on Wednesday. Gardai in Tralee have confirmed that a seven-year-old Romanian boy left behind in Tralee after his parents and four-year-old brother were deported remains in the care of his aunt today. Chief Superintendent Tony McNamara says Edwardo will be sent home and reunited with his family but when and how is a matter for the Garda Immigration Bureau. But Rosanna Flynn of Residents Against Racism says an investigation should be carried out into how the family was treated.
