New West Brom head coach Tony Pulis says it’s not a given he’ll save the club from dropping out of the Premier League. The former Stoke and Crystal Palace boss has never been relegated as a manager. Albion are currently one point above the bottom three. Pulis says there’s a long way to go until they guarantee their top flight status [audio_player src=”http://media.radiokerry.ie/mediamanager/embed/audio/33314/medium/”] Kerry’s Brendan Moloney has gone out on loan from Yeovil Town. The defender is now with Northampton, where he will stay until the end of the season. Championship promotion contenders Derby have signed Darren Bent on loan from Aston Villa until the end of the season. The striker, who’s played 13 times for England, has been out of favour at Villa Park. He recently spent a month on loan at Brighton, where he scored two goals in five games. Southampton defender Maya Yoshida has signed a new three-year contract with the Premier League’s fourth placed side. The deal should keep the Japan international on the south coast until at least 2018. Yoshida’s now flown to Australia to represent his country at this month’s Asian Cup. Swansea have signed highly-rated teenage midfielder Matt Grimes. He moves from Exeter for an undisclosed fee. The England under-20 international will be eligible to make his debut in next week’s Premier League game with West Ham.
