Psychiatric Nurses’ Association overtime ban causing little disruption in Kerry

The Psychiatric Nurses’ Association says its overtime ban will cause little disruption here in Kerry.

Jamie Kelly from the PNA  in Kerry says good staffing levels in the county will help reduce the impact today and tomorrow.

Their dispute centres around pay and staffing and Mr Kelly says he hopes to see more engagement from the Government to prevent an all-out strike.

A contingency meeting will take place with the HSE on Monday and Jamie Kelly says there could be more disruptions in Kerry next week, depending on the outcome of that meeting.
