Cork developer Michael O’ Flynn has won a major legal victory by regaining control of his multinational 1.8 billion euro property empire. The High Court has stood down an interim examiner and receivers who were appointed to some of his companies last month. They were put in place at the behest of Blackstone, which bought loans associated with O’Flynn’s empire at a discounted price. The O’Flynns claim Blackstone was improperly trying to gain control of the business.
