A number of prominent Italian travel agents and tour operators are visiting Kerry this week as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland.
The group is on a fact-finding visit to experience what Kerry has to offer Italian holidaymakers.
The group’s itinerary included a walking tour of Dingle, visits to the Dingle Distillery, Gallarus Oratory and dinner at the Dingle Bay Hotel.
While in Tralee, the group stayed at The Rose Hotel and dined in Kirby’s Brogue Inn.
Niamh Kinsella of Tourism Ireland said last year was the best year ever for tourism from Italy to Ireland with almost 345,000 Italians visiting the country.
