Programme to encourage interest in STEM in primary schools in Kerry’s Gaeltachts

A new programme aims to encourage interest in STEM subjects with primary school pupils in Kerry’s Gaeltacht regions.

An Chruinne consists of five modules and will teach the higher primary classes Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

It was devised by Údarás na Gaeltachta and Junior Achievement Ireland; it’s being piloted in 16 Gaeltacht primary schools across Kerry, Cork, Donegal, Mayo, Galway, Waterford, and Meath.
