A process is underway to examine the enrolment policy of a Mid Kerry school.
That’s according to Junior Minister at the Department of Tourism and Sport, Brendan Griffin, who was one of the many elected representatives who attended a public meeting in Nagle Rice Primary School in Milltown last night.
Over 200 parents and family members attended the meeting, which was organised after Presentation Secondary School changed enrolment criteria for the 18 schools in the catchment area.
Minister Griffin met with the secondary school in recent days to discuss the rearranged criteria.
While he did not discuss the details of the meeting, the Fine Gael TD from Keel did say a process is now underway.
