Premier League Fixtures Are Announced

Premier LeagueChelsea will start their Premier League title defence at home to Swansea. The English fixtures for the 2015-2016 season are out. Two of the three newly promoted sides are at home on the opening weekend. Championship winners Bournemouth face Aston Villa and Norwich play Crystal Palace, while Watford start away to Everton. Liverpool will begin their 2015-16 Barclays Premier League campaign where they ended the last – with an away trip to Stoke City. The second round of fixtures features a game between two title contenders, as Chelsea head to Manchester City. The season starts on the 8th of August. Ireland winger James McLean could be on his way back to the Premier league. The former Sunderland player who was relegated to league one with Wigan had received interest from New York Red Bull but is now expected to go to West Brom Meanwhile, It’s reported that Manchester City have upped their offer to Liverpool for Raheem Sterling. The Blues are willing to pay around 40 million for the England international. In other transfer news, Ireland international Stephanie Roche has joined the Sunderland Ladies team. Roche was on the look-out for a new club after her contract with US side Houston Dash was cancelled just last month.
