Preliminary inquiry to be held in case of murdered Tralee woman

A preliminary inquiry is to be held in Belfast into the case of a man accused of murdering a Tralee woman in January of this year. The inquiry will be heard next week in the case of 48 year old Joseph Patrick Doherty with an address at Strathroy Park in Belfast. The body of Roseanne Lonergan was discovered in at her home in January of this year. Later in the month a brother and sister were remanded in custody after appearing in Court in Belfast charged in connection with the death of 41 year old Ms Lonergan.Joseph Patrick Doherty was charged with the murder of his partner Roseanne Lonergan, while his sister 41 year old Mary Doherty from the same address was charged with withholding information about the murder.
